Who Is ILCA?
Founded in 2019 by co-founders Gabriella Kovács and Carrie McKinnon along with our esteemed board, ILCA is a global association of language professionals committed to advancing the practice of language coaching. Our mission is to unite practitioners around a shared vision:
- Developing and supporting language professionals in language coaching techniques.
- Centralizing individual and organizational efforts within a collaborative global network.
- Enhancing thought leadership in language coaching to meet 21st-century learning needs.
- Elevating international communication skills through targeted coaching support.
- Providing language coaching resources wherever learners need them.
We advocate for a non-competitive environment that values peer collaboration, idea-sharing, and ongoing professional growth. Event Snapshot
Our conference has grown each year, with attendees returning and new faces joining. Approximately 80 participants, many trained by ILCA from across the globe.
