About The Talk: We know that achievement can be motivating, but how does motivation affect our sense of achievement? This session explores how understanding different types of motivation can help teachers/coaches ensure their students/clients feel like they are achieving and making progress. It will also discuss how we, as teachers/coaches, need to understand our own motivations.
About The Speaker: Chris started teaching in the UK in 2010 and has been working in Spain since 2016. He holds an MEd in Applied Linguistics and a Diploma in Academic Management. He’s particularly interested in inclusive pedagogies and teacher/action research, teacher identity and agency, and is lead editor for IATEFL’s ReSIG ELT Research.
