About The Speaker: Led by John Edward McGraw, an expert in cross-cultural communication, this webinar promises valuable insights for language coaches looking to enrich their approach and support their clients'; journeys. Canadian by birth, John's passion for culture came from living and working in Japan for several years as an EFL instructor. After moving back to Canada, he became a Certified Intercultural Coach and Facilitator and founded Hiyaku Coaching to help bridge cultural divides in Canada and Japan. John has worked with nonprofit organizations helping newcomers settle into Canada, coached Japanese executives in Canada, and trained and advised a Canadian municipal government’s upcoming trade mission to Japan. He is also the host of the Intercultural Insiders livestream show and audio podcast, encouraging immigrants and other international guests to share their cross-cultural experiences.
