Expert Talk Series

with Gabriella Kovács MA, PCC, ILCA Co-founder
In the first Expert Talk of 2026, Gabriella Kovács explores five key mindset and practice shifts that support self-directed, reflective learning in today’s less predictable learning environments. Drawing on ILCA’s coaching framework and language coaching practices, the session examines how learner-led goal setting, powerful questioning, and active listening replace dependency with ownership and purpose. Participants will gain insight into how psychological safety and shared responsibility develop deeper engagement, while AI tools can be positioned as partners that amplify human learning. The talk offers practical reflections and a forward-looking perspective for educators, coaches, and institutions seeking to empower autonomous learners in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
